Food For The Soul: The Way

The most powerful effects of a believer is the conversion of their soul that is engaging and committed in a life that seeks the righteousness of Christ Jesus. His way is the only way, John 14:6.

His victory is seen through a heart of obedience that is compelled and constrained by His love that is being filled daily with His fullness.

Have a compelling kind of day!
Grace and love to all

Food For The Soul: Forgiveness

I am grateful God didn't judge me in my sin, but loved me so wildly.
With great excellence His untamable love led me straight into His arms, then carried me to the foot of The Cross of forgiveness.

When you feel the need to judge and criticize others, remember where you were when God forgave you. Never forget where you came from.
Stay Humble!

Love the sinner, hate the sin!
Love like Jesus!

John 8:7
Jesus said, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Have a wild & untamable kind of day! Love & blessings

Food For The Soul: Discipline

Have you ever thought you better shape up, stop whining and complaining about something, or a spanking was headed your way? Yeah, me too.

There are times we want something, but God has other plans. So we whine, beg and complain to Him. We act like spoiled brats until our Heavenly Father says, “enough.” We know in that moment a spanking is headed our way if we don't change our attitude real quick.

Truth is, sometimes He says no. In those moments of whining, we are being selfish, ungrateful and disobedient children. When we should be joyfully resting and trusting His will no matter the outcome. We need to accept it, be grateful and keep going with joyful praise on our lips.

I don't know about you, but I don't like spankings from God. I've had enough of them to know they are painful lessons.

We truly don't have one thing to whine or complain about. God, our Heavenly Father is so graciously good to us. He generously gives us every good thing without holding back. He remains steadfast in His love and mercy, even when we are acting like spoiled brats.

I am grateful for His discipline.
How do you feel about God's discipline?

Love and peace to all,

Food For The Soul: True Worship

Psalm 85:10

Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other.

God is steadfast and faithful.
He seeks true worshippers who are faithful, steadfast, who will worship Him in the Spirit and in truth, John 4:23.

Resolve in your heart and mind to be galvanized, devoted, unswerving and with constant dedication. Take your stand (anchored, rooted) in Christ and remain there, John 15:4, Hebrews 6:19.

If we stand firmly confident remaining in Christ now, steadfast and immovable, it will allow us to stand confidently on The Day of Judgment.

Today how are you standing?
The way we live determines our destination.

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of The Lord, because you know that your labor in The Lord is not in vain.

Food For The Soul: Sacrifice

At the hardest and most agonizing point of Christ's ministry, He didn't give up.

He stayed the course and remained on the altar of sacrifice in obedience to His Father and for the love of every soul. He sacrificed everything for others. To bring victory, freedom, restoration and life.

He now sits at the right hand of His Father, ruling and reigning for all eternity.

How about you, are you willing to sacrifice for Jesus? How about for others?

Romans 12
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God–this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is–His good, pleasing and perfect will.

Have a sacrificing kind of day!
Grace, love & peace to all

Food For The Soul: Perception

Remember, if God calls you, His grace covers you. If He chose you, He equips you. If He is your mighty Refuge and the stronghold of your life, then not one thing in this world can crush you. Stay strong!

The best is yet to come!

1 Peter 2:21
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in His steps.

Love & peace to all in Christ

Food For The Soul: Wisdom

When people cross our path whether good or bad, always take the good out of it and learn from each encounter. God gives us pearls of wisdom with each encounter to grow us. Embrace them.

There are some who will throw you pearls while others throw rocks. Learn from both, but grab the gems and cherish them. There are some you may never remember, while others will be in your heart for a lifetime. Each one strengthens your faith and helps build your character. Be grateful cherishing every moment.

God is faithful. He is gentle and filled with lovingkindness. Even when we don't understand, we must trust Him and rest in His Divine providence. We only see today, but God sees the whole picture from beginning to end having our best interest in mind.

Deuteronomy 32:4
The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He.

There is a time to rejoice and a time to morn, but in these moments there will always time to be grateful.

Grace, love & peace to all.

Food For The Soul: Surrender

Only when we start surrendering our thoughts and desires to every Word of God can we begin to crucify our flesh and nail them to the Cross of Christ. This means to completely surrender our thoughts, actions and words.
How are you doing with surrendering to God's Word?

Galatians 5:24
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passion and desires of their sinful nature (the flesh) to His Cross and crucified them there.

Believers are in a spiritual conflict. Jesus gave us victory for every conflict we face. Walking with Jesus in His freedom, with a trusting faith, in hope of all His promises and making prayer a way of life will be our powerful walking tools. Use them! Focus! Mind-set!

Mind of the Spirit!
Attitude of Christ!

Have a surrendering kind of day

Food For The Soul: Power Walk

The Word of God tells us if we live by the Spirit we will not gratify the desires of the flesh, see Galatians 5:16.

By walking in the Spirit we will joyfully carry out God's will and not our own selfish will, by the power and guidance of the Spirit through Christ Jesus. What or who powers your walk?

No matter the opposition or obstacles we face, if we truly believe in all of God's Word in faith and with all hope in His promises, then we will strain every muscle in complete surrender to follow God in obedience. We will listen to His voice above every voice.

God's Divine favor, direction and protection will be with His chosen ones who surrender and obey His voice. God is with them every step, and they trust Him with all their love, heart, soul and strength.
Who or what directs and protects your steps?

1 Samuel 14
6 Then Jonathan said to the young man who was carrying his armor, “Come and let us cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; perhaps The Lord will work for us, for The Lord is not restrained to save by many or by few.”
7 “Do all that you have in mind,” his armor-bearer said. “Go ahead; I am with you heart and soul.”

Have a power walking kind of day!
Grace, peace & love to all

Letting Go Of The Past

If we must suffer, let us suffer for what truly counts.

Before Christ, our past counts for nothing and everything is meaningless. There's no assurance or confidence in a lifeless past. Looking back only slows us down. It robs us of peace and kills our joy.

Once we know Christ everything counts towards our eternal future, with our past being dead and buried. Why do we bring it back and relive it in our mind? It is useless effort to relive what's buried. Let it go!

Christ who is alive and active came to give abundant life, confident hope and eternal security, John 10:10. Live in the future with Christ and focus on His truth. The truth of Him giving us victory at The Cross.

We can't walk in victory if we don't fix our minds on His promises of hope and set our eyes towards Heaven which is our eternal home.

We are in a race to win. A runner has only one focus, the finish line. We can't run the opposite way and expect to cross the finish line. Focus on the victory!

Philippians 3:14
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Have a victorious kind of week!
