Food For The Soul: Love

God's gift of love to you is a gift to love others through you. Love is an act of worship and an act of faith expressing itself. Genuine love and obedient faith are a witness to the world of who Jesus Christ is to you and who he is in you.

Our strongest truth to others is how we live, not what we say. Love with excellence in a faith that moves mountains.

When we passionately love others with a genuine heart of faith through the Spirit of God, it will be a powerful testimony to others. It will always be hopeful, it will be unrestrained, and will it never give up.

Servants of Christ Jesus serve others through the grace of God to proclaim the truth of The Gospel. Are you serving others in truth by the way you live, speak and treat others?

It's not enough to know Christ. We must be sanctified by living it out through repenting from sin, living a holy life and loving one another with all excellence. This is God's will for us.

James 2:17 (NLT)
So you see, faith by itself isn't enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

Have a testimony kind of day!
Grace & peace in Christ

Food For The Soul: A Special Rest

Glorious Morning Friends!

Rest your soul on the firm foundation of God's promises, where faith lifts the soul and fixes it securely there.

Resting in God means fully trusting Him, fully relying on Him and His promises. If we want His abundant provisions, we must be willing to sacrifice. We must be willing to go through the pain of letting go of this world, our desires and our selfish priorities. Have you entered into God's special rest?

When we say we love and trust God, are we proving it by the way we consistently live, talk and act?

Humbly letting go of what we trust to obediently take hold of every Word of God by surrendering self is an act of faith. If we value God's Word and trust in His promises, we must combined it with obedient faith and make it a priority to be completely submissive to God's will and His Word, Hebrews 4:9-12. That is an act of love, John 14:23.

God's Word is truth and it says we are more than conquerors in Christ, Romans 8:37.

Here's how; stay close to God and love Him more than anything or anyone. Read His Word daily. Pray constantly. Walk in love. Remain humble. Be fruitful. Live it and breath it every second, even in your sleep!

Protect your mind and heart, Proverbs 4:23.
Stay in His rest (peace) by being content, fix your focus on Jesus, Hebrews 12:2.
Take the good with the bad, Philippians 4:12.
Trust God has everything handled, Romans 8:28.

When we learn to trust God with everything, we give Him our everything.

How are you doing with letting go? Are you offering up your heart willingly and giving God your everything?

Proverbs 27:19
As water reflects the face, so one's life reflects the heart.

Have a God humbling kind of day

Proverbs 10:21

Deep Thoughts: Satan’s Bait

Only a fool sets a trap for himself and expects to escape!

That's exactly what we are doing when we play with sin. We willingly set a trap for ourselves. Traps won't work if it's prey doesn't go near it. So why entertain sin? Hell is hot and it's for eternity.

What is your eternal destiny?

Don't be lured into satan's bait.
How we live today matters!

2 Thessalonians 1
8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey The Gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the Presence of The Lord and from the glory of His might.

Chronicles 7:14

If you pray to God he will hear you

Food For The Soul: Your Walk

Never lower your expectations because others can't rise to meet them.

Never allow others to label you because they have insecurities. Never receive words spoken to you that Jesus hasn't approved or defined in you.
Never allow others to destroy your confidence or steal your joy. Walk fearlessly, boldly & humbly finding your worth in Jesus.

Live & love freely in the grace & mercies God has given you.

Psalm 84:11
For The Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.

Have a prosperous kind of week!

Everything Is Amazing And Nobody Is Happy

Our message today at Movement Church was “EVERYTHING IS AMAZING AND NOBODY IS HAPPY”

It was a message about joy, where to find it & how to keep it in every circumstance.
Thank you for an awesome message Pastor Jeremy Schweyer, my brother.

God had me right on track with my Pastor's message.

I wrote this in my devotional this morning before church:
“I can't see what my Sweet Daddy-God sees, but I trust what He sees that I can't see. Here's why:
He is my Savior & Lord. He is my banner & refuge. He is my shield, my helper & my protector. He is my strength, my inexpressible joy & my peace. He is my comfort & rest. He completes every area of my heart, thoughts & life.
He has been there through it all & He still loves me. He listens to me & responds to me. He has been faithful to me ALL my life, even when I went off His path, He was still with me. His grace is greater! His love is radical! His mercy is extreme!

My answer to what I want out of life is not things or anything from this world. I want to be completely focused on the deeper things that my Sweet Daddy-God wants to shower me with so I can shower others.

Psalm 3:3

You can't find happiness without God.

Our Life Is A Ministry To Others

How well we live and love is a testimony to who God is to us.
What is your testimony saying?

Abba, open our eyes to Your trustworthiness. Help us to see Your loving kindness and goodness. May we grasp our faithfulness to the fullest. Build Your confidence in You so that we may be complete in You and accomplish Your purposes today in the present and in the future.

When we dwell in the good things of God, we will see the great things of God. He goes before us and He is our shield of protection. God Is With You!

When we trust Him in every circumstance, He is sure to lead us on His path of righteousness. When we put God first, He becomes the peace in our heart and the song of joy in our soul. It's not always easy, but He is sure to get us through. Trust Him!

Seek God's Dwelling!

Isaiah 45:2
I (God) will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.

Have a confident kind of day

Isaiah 45:3

The Eyes Of The Spirit

Food For The Soul: God’s Rich Mercy

Each day we receive the fruits of God's mercies. His appeal to His children is to sanctify the quality of the soul by how we live, what we speak, how we act and our genuine affections towards Him as we give ourselves fully to Him.

Through God's gracious mercies we are raised up, cleaned up and covered up. God's compassion will never fail His children and His love is eternal. Let us find our hope, comfort and satisfaction in Him alone. Trust Him!

Do you see God's mercies?
Are you wisely using the fruits He gives you daily?

Lamentations 3
22 Because of The Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Have a fruit bearing kind of day

Romans 12:2

God's Will

Food For The Soul: Faith

Faith, no matter the path, we are prepared to trust God where He does not permit us to see or understand.

Do you firmly hold God's hand and confidently trust His promises with an unswerving faith?

When we put our trust in our gracious God, we find confidence in Him. Where there is confidence in Him, we find comfort in Him. His comfort and confidence will be our peace as we rest in Him. God is faithful. His love remains steadfast and He is true to His promises.

Has your soul been touched by God's lovingkindness? Have you tasted His goodness, Psalm 34:8?

God does not need our help, He needs a heart of loyalty and faithfulness that will trust Him.

Psalm 116:7
Let my soul be at rest again, for The Lord has been good to me.

Have a taste testing kind of day in The Lord

Isaiah 26:3

Praise The Lord

Food For The Soul: Union

The Fruits of the Spirit are like an anointing oil to the body of believers when they come together in unity, peace and love. It profits our soul and blesses the body. Are you being anointed?

Our whole purpose it to please God and glorify Him, Ecc. 12:13. When God's people come together with purpose to celebrate, fellowship and pray, His Presence is with them, Matthew 18:20.

When we purposefully come together in unity in the Spirit to glorify God, it pleases Him and He notices, Malachi 3:16.

We should seek each other out to help one another find strength in The Lord and in His Word. We must take care of one another's souls. Even more so in times of trials and troubles. A perfect example of that is David and Jonathan, 1 Samuel 23:16.

Just like the shiny sword, God's people will also shine when they are sharpened. Then they are more effective and they will be more useful. It is good to help one another so that they unite in peace and harmony, Ephesians 4:3-6.

Encourage One Another Daily!

Have a fruitful kind of day.
Love & blessings to all

The word of God

Real Preachers

I just read a powerful statement in an article titled, Will The Real Christian Pastors Please Stand Up, by John Wesley; “Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and we will shake the gates of hell”?

As I read in the Old Testament Isaiah, Ezekiel and Jeremiah to name a few, they are sent by God to call the people in their nations to repentance?

Where are the Pastors that cry out to God and preach powerfully in the Spirit about sin and repentance? Where are the permeating messages that penetrate the hearts of the listeners by the Spirit's fire that brings a conviction to the souls? Where are they?

Truth is, not just Pastors, but all followers of Christ should warn others of sin and hell. Believers should want to lead others to the reality of God's truth and expose hearts to God's Divine spiritual healing in and through Christ Jesus.

I take great comfort in knowing there are still a few Pastors out there that walk justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our mighty God. Who preach through the power of God's Spirit and are willing to warn souls of sin and hell.
(I know my Pastors do.)
God, please bless them richly for not being afraid to offend a sinning soul in hopes to lead them straight back to You in repentance.

Who is willing to shake the gates of hell? Who is willing to keep grace moving? Who is willing to demonstrate great mercy? WHO?

Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring Good News, who proclaim peace, who bring Good Tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God Reigns!”
